Primary Day for our Local, State, and Congressional offices is Tuesday June 11, but you can vote early starting TODAY!
Here's what you need to know about Early Voting in Charleston County:
When to vote early:
Tues. May 28 - Fri. June 7
Monday - Friday (closed weekends & holidays)
8:30am - 5:00pm
Where to vote early:
Charleston County Board of Elections (4340 Corporate Rd. North Charleston, 29405)
Essex Village Church of Christ (736 Savage Rd. West Ashley, 29414)
Wando Library (1400 Carolina Park Blvd. Mt. Pleasant 29466)
*Note any Charleston County voter can vote early at any of these three locations, no matter where you live or your home precinct.
Democratic Primaries in Charleston County:
1st Congressional District (East Cooper, Edisto Island, Folly Beach, Kiawah, James Island, Johns Island, Seabrook, Wadmalaw)
State Senate District 32 (Awendaw, McClellanville)
State Senate District 42 (upper peninsula of Charleston, North Chas.)
State House District 15 (upper North Charleston)
State House District 109 (west side of North Charleston)*
*Note one of the two primary candidates, Jessica Bright, has withdrawn so her name will still appear on the ballot, but votes for Ms. Bright will not be counted. There is only one active candidate remaining in this primary, Rep. Tiffany Spann-Wilder.
State House District 111 (central West Ashley, middle & upper peninsula of Charleston, lower North Charleston)
State House District 116 (outer West Ashley, Ravenel, Hollywood, Wadmalaw, Edisto Island, northern Johns Island)
