Interim Chair to be Selected by Executive Committee

Chairman Brady Quirk-Garvan announced this past week his plan to step down in order to publicly support a candidate in the upcoming Presidential Primary. In accordance with the rules of the South Carolina Democratic Party, our county's Executive Committee will be tasked with selecting an interim chair to serve until the next County Convention in 2020. Those who are interested in running for chair should contact chair@charlestondemocrats.com and express their interest.

The Executive Committee will meet to select a new chair on Thursday, March 21 at 6:30 PM in the third floor council chambers of North Charleston City Hall. All Democrats are invited to attend, although voting will be limited to members of the Executive Committee.
