Please join us for a party — a Period Packing Party!

Lisa Ross will be our speaker and will discuss period poverty and provide an update on South Carolina legislation related to these issues (including the “pink tax”). Finally, she will present a summary of the Lowcountry Period Pixies, a local nonprofit that provides menstrual supplies to a variety of schools, clinics, and not-for-profit and agencies.

We will then pack supplies for the Lowcountry Period Pixies.

We will be meeting at the CCDP office. If possible, bring a snack to share as well as your favorite beverage. We could also use more period product donations. Social time at 6, meeting starts at 6:30.
